Why Hiring:

- Overloaded work load resulting from business development accepting more work than current staff can handle, triggered in June.

End Product: Successful execution of solid rocket propulsion system programs  

Tech/Domain Environment:  
- Mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering  
- Solid rocket propulsion systems  

Job Duties:  
- Direct end-to-end technical lifecycle of solid rocket propulsion programs  
- Lead cross-functional teams through design reviews and qualification milestones  
- Ensure final systems are producible and compliant with technical data requirements  
- Maintain focus on critical path and drive schedule performance  
- Establish and maintain lean technical scope baselines  
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships as primary technical spokesperson  

Must Haves:  
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering  
- 15 years of experience in solid rocket propulsion  
- Experience leading teams of at least 10 people on propulsion projects  
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance  

Nice to Haves:  
- Current DoD Secret Security clearance  
- Experience with budget change requests and cost performance indices  

Disqualifiers:  
- No experience in solid rocket propulsion  
- Only academic or POC experience without production involvement  
- No experience leading multidisciplinary teams
