About the Role
Title: Bluetooth Embedded Software Developer / Embedded Software Developer
Headcount: 1
Location: Austin, TX | Onsite (100% onsite required)
Contract: 6+ months; Start: ASAP
Interview Process: Coding technical rounds with identity verification, camera monitoring, VPN tracking, and automated cheating flags; Feedback SLA: 24 to 48 hours

Job Duties (6-10 bullets):
- Carry out systems analysis for the BLE controller and SDK
- Create specifications for the BLE controller and SDK
- Design the BLE controller and SDK
- Implement the BLE controller and SDK
- Verify, characterize, and qualify the BLE controller and SDK
- Document the BLE controller and SDK
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary stakeholders and key customers throughout the product development life cycle
Must Haves (hard gates; 6-12 bullets, all testable/quantified):
- Full-time end-to-end Bluetooth stack development experience with cradle-to-grave ownership
- Strong proficiency in C programming language
- Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX 100% of the time
- Strong experience in either Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or OpenThread
- US citizenship or permanent residency (green card) required due to long-term conversion requirements and parent company restrictions
Nice to Haves (5-10 bullets):
- Experience shipping an SDK to external customers
- Strong experience in both Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and OpenThread
- Python programming experience
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps environment
