About the Role
Title: Structures Engineer (Stress Analyst)
Headcount: 3–5
Location: Costa Mesa, CA — Onsite (5 days/week onsite)
Contract: Long-term connection desired with potential conversion; Start: ASAP (2026-09-11)
Interview Process: Resume review by hiring manager followed by a single 30-minute technical interview with the hiring manager and stress manager; Feedback SLA: Weekly review cadence

Job Duties:
- Perform finite element analysis and strength evaluations independently.
- Apply classic methods for high-level structural analysis.
- Handle MRB, clean sheet, and production work packages.
- Work on metallic and composite structures for aircraft and missile programs.
Must Haves:
- FEMAP proficiency for aerospace structural analysis
- High-level strength and stress analysis competency with FEA
- Classic methods knowledge for independent execution
Nice to Haves:
- Experience combining loads and stress, dynamics and stress, or design and stress
- Missile or hypersonics experience
- Experience working with both metallic and composite structures
Disqualifiers:
- Candidates claiming fast-paced program interest with only long-term traditional corporate tenure without relevant adaptation
- Lack of FEMAP proficiency
Security/Clearance:
- US citizenship required
