Location: El Segundo, CA onsite
Contract: 12 months; Start: ASAP

Job Duties:
- Perform structural analysis via hand calculations and FEMAP/NASTRAN
- Create and review reports supporting structural analysis
- Present structural issues and solutions to management and customers
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex engineering problems
- Evaluate engineering products for conformity to standards and specifications
- Conduct static and dynamic analysis for tooling fixtures
- Identify and mitigate safety risks per company and government standards
- Develop designs using 3D modeling tools (NX, CATIA)
- Create CAD drawings compliant with ASME standards
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM
- 3+ years of experience in structural analysis using hand calculations and FEA
- Proficiency in CATIA and NX in production environments
- Experience with stress analysis techniques and practices
- Ability to create, read, and interpret engineering drawings per ASME 14.5
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Professional Engineering License or working towards PE
- Direct experience with tooling mechanics and stress analysis
- Familiarity with fabrication factors like accessibility and performance
- Current active DoD Secret clearance
Disqualifiers:
- No experience in aerospace or tooling fabrication
- Only academic/POC experience with structural analysis
- No ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance
