Job Duties:
- Stand up software test architecture for legacy COTS application.
- Collaborate with developers to identify critical tests.
- Write and perform unit tests to ensure software quality.
- Refactor code to improve maintainability.
- Execute smoke tests prior to software release.
- Troubleshoot software issues effectively.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of experience in software testing.
- Used C++ in production with at least 5,000 lines of code.
- Developed unit tests in production achieving 90% code coverage.
- Experience with smoke tests in production with a pass rate of 95%.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with documented resolutions.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Nice to Haves:
- Created test architecture for legacy applications in a production environment.
- Experience with Atlassian software suite (JIRA, Confluence) in a team setting.
- Worked within an Agile Scrum framework for at least 2 years.
- Refactored code in a team of 5+ engineers.
- Experience with Winforms in a production application.
Disqualifiers:
- No experience with C++ in production.
- Only academic experience with software testing.
- No documented problem-solving examples.
Data/Perf Targets: - Achieve p95 response time of < 200 ms for test execution. s for test execution.
